Chef Charles Ragland has been cooking up delicious dining experiences at home, businesses, and events across San Antonio and Austin, Texas, since 2002. Serving a myriad of clients from busy professionals and families to offices and corporate events, Chef Charles caters to each of his clients’ unique and personal preferences.

Chef Charles resides in Central Texas with his family. He is a veteran of the United States military.

Welcome to Matter of Taste!
I'm so glad you're here. It's my strong belief that food feeds more than just your body, but also your soul. Whether you're hosting family and friends for a special occasion, having a meeting at the office, or just need a little help with making dinner for the table, it would be my honor to serve you.

The most important lesson I've learned in my nearly 30-year career as a chef is that each ingredient matters. I carry that value into the service I provide to my clients. Let me handle your meals so you can tend to the more important parts of the day, like spending time with loved ones or doing activities you enjoy.
